GPS readings are totally inaccurate. 90% readings are opposite of known destination. System arrives you at destination up to 1/8 off target. Major streets are not always recognized. Freeway travel not recognized.

I don't recognise the model number but thats because we use different numbers in britain, If the unit has a hideaway box seperate from the unit in the dash is it facing the right way or there may be a problem with the speed pulse connection, if you go into the settings menu and check the service screen and check if the unit is calibrated fully

1990 lexus ls400 cassette player will not read or play my cassetes. i put in my cassettes but my front tape flap doesn't close and it automatically switches back to the radio.

The player has to seize the cassette as it is inserted and seat it in the correct position to be played. Sometimes the manual eject linkage becomes defective or misadjusted, preventing the cassette from seating correctly. The eject button may depress fully without causing ejection or it may depress but not cause ejection.

CDAC ER2 usually means a cd is stuck, not reading properly, or that the magazine is stuck or broken. take out all cds and try it with a known good cd (one that played ok in the past). if that doesn't work, try unplugging the unit and plugging it back in.

if it still doesnt work, take the magazine out, power it up so that you get the "no mag" error, then insert the magazine with no discs and see if it still errors out with ER2. if it does, then the magazine is bad, or the changer is bad..

if it works, then try the known good disc again, if it works now, your magazine was probably stuck, or one of the other cd's isn't liked by the changer.

hope this helps,
