Yes. What do you think the GameCube controller slot was for? And when you insert a a disc and go to the Game Channel Can't you see a spinning GameCube game as well.

The Wii can play GameCube games, but you cannot play Nintendo 64 games.
Also, to play GameCube games, you will still need GameCube controllers. The Wii has 4 GameCube controller ports on it. The Wii controllers will not work for playing GameCube games.

I heard something on youtube about that. It seems that the disc is hitting on the case so you would have to take it apart and fix it.

SOURCE: Gamecube game stuck in wii
Well i have expirienced the same thing. what you have to do is put the console face down so that the game slot is facing the floor then press the eject button but if that doesnt work you have to heat up the system by leaving it on for about 3 hours then tilt it and press the button and that should get the disc out for you.

If there is a game stuck inside the system, nintendo will want to have it come in for repair so they can safely remove it and get it back to you, if youve had it with in a year they should do the fix for free. Give them a call and see what they have to offer.
