First check after you on the motherboard.....
Check the keyboard LED flash 2 times then your machine start up....

Beep not given may be your PC speaker not working or connection wrong...

Fan not working properly mean so much dusted clean it properly and the mother board also....

You definitely got the luck….

If there is no video, and no post beep.. could be 1 of 3 main possibilities, 1. like colin said, power supply could be faulty, or has copped a spike and one point a blowen.. 2. RAM is faulty, really bad ram will prevent a system starting at all.. 3. the motherboard or CPU has a major problem, the result of the power supply blowing may have directly spiked the board, the fan not working is a classic sign..

Could be a power supply fault, motherboard fault, or fan fault. Many new motherboards will not power up if the fan doesn't rotate, to prevent the processor getting fried.

Cdc-m computer will not come on the on light works case fans comes on but that is all

Do you mean that your computer does not turn on just casing light lit on and Fan runs only? What means new, memory and case?

If just lights on, fan runs but no image on monitor or blank screen, you should hear some kind of sound form inside of the CPU casing. This is called beep code. If you hear continuous beep or 3 same beep with same length, it means your motherboard is missing RAM, just connect it properly. If does not work or stop try a good RAM installing to see the result and plug your this RAM to a working machine that have the same kind of RAM.
If you hear one long beep with two short beep After PC switching on, or Two long beep with one short beep following - that means your Graphics card is not connected properly, or damaged or miss matching. If you do not have any beep code after switching on the machine, your motherboard may not have build in emergency speaker. Try to clear this things first. Please mention details of your computer with model number of your motherboard. Let me know updates.

When I power my pc matherboard give lon sound and continue

Check the memory is pushed in fully and the fan is properly connected. If it proceeds normally after this it may be standard boot procedure - some old motherboards give a long beep during startup. (if none of the above works, you could try resetting the bios) Hope this helps! Max

1. Along beep on a motherboard indicates something is connected backward such a a fan or a data cable to the hard drive.
If it is the hard drive cable then you must have pin 1 connector turn around and therefore the mother board is giving a warning.
2. You may have a power supply failure that is the power supply is not giving proper voltage to the mother board.
3. Your ram chip is not properly seated in the RAM slot or in backwards.
4. The CMOS battery to the mother board need to be replaced.

Motherboard beeps, but no display on my monitor. I press the reset button and then the system will work normally

Hello there james_wheele.
Here's your geek-steer ...

Those beeps you hear ... they are a very, very good thing. It's a pre-coded little diagnostic result report your motherboard (MB) is trying to tell you about in the only language she knows.

Presuming you have Award BIOS, the following are the "official" beep codes:
  • 1 long, 2 short = Video adapter error: Either video adapter is bad or is not seated properly. Also, check to ensure the monitor cable is connected properly.
Repeating (endless loop) = Memory error: Check for improperly seated or missing memory.
  • 1 long, 3 short = No video card or bad video RAM: Reseat or replace the video card.
  • High frequency beeeps while running = Overheated CPU: Check the CPU fan for proper operation. Check the case for proper air flow.
  • Repeating High/Low = CPU: Either the CPU is not seated properly or the CPU is damaged. May also be due to excess heat. Check the CPU fan or BIOS settings for proper fan speed.
Do your beep sequences match any one of these? If so, follow-up with the appropriate suggested corrective action.

If that's a "WTF ???" coming out of your thought bubble, post back and I'll see about giving you some links to pictures of your motherboard, coupled with some instruction, tips, advice on how to perform your particular actions properly.

Good luck, and please post back ...

have you thought about changing the battery on the motherboard, also checking that the fan on the cpu is seated properly with enough heatsink paste as both these issues will stop the pc from booting
