My daughter gave me a Radio shack Web Cam 02A06 but she did not give me a CD for installation can I still use this?

If you are running windows vista, chances are that the camera would work without installing the web cam driver,
if you are running windows xp then you will have to install the driver for your web cam...
u did not mention about the camera's brand or model u just mentioned about the store your daughter got that from.
if u could possibly mention the name of the brand of camera i will be able to help u find its drivers.

Yes - you can use the cam but you will need to download some software for it
You have a couple of options ( apart from the CD )

1) Visit the Radio Shack support website and download from here

2) If your Computer can identify New Hardware when you plug something into the USB - switch off computer - plug in webcam and start your computer - allow the new software to download automatically before starting any programs.

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Camera installation
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Yes you can, if you have vista on your computer, then you should be able to plug it strait in, and it will begin to work.

if you dont have vista, or this doesnt work, then all you need to do is download the driver from the internet. I suggest going to

and downloading the driver. once the driver is installed, then you can begin to use the camera with msn, or whatever softwear you wish
