I am trying to output a movie to my dvd recorder using an S-video cord (I do not have an av cord for the handycam). The video signal is reaching the dvd recorder, but not the audio. I also tried connecting the handycam directly to a television using the S-video cord and again the video displayed, but there was no audio output to the television. I do hear the audio on the handycam when I simply put it in playback mode. How can I get the handycam to output the audio so that I may record the movie on a dvd?
