You must have hit the sensor by mistake, the sensors have to be both green, just move the one with the yellow light untill it sees the other sensor and the light will change to green

The problem is with the sensor at the bottom of the railing. We had to replace the photosensor on one of them.

Garage door is opening by itself

If you have a unit that has dip switches simply change the code in the remote and on the motor head to a different set up. Both must match. If you have a rolling code(a unit with a learn button) you must erase the old codes out by holding down the colored learn button until the led light by it goes out. Then press and release the learn button and press the button on the remote. If this does not fix it find the two wires to the wall button on the motor head and unhook them. If that fixes it replace this wire and wall button. If not you will need a new logic board. is where you can get one. Thanks BB

In order to enter Learn Routine, the Valet/Program push button must be plugged

the drivers dash or drivers kick panel somewhere). If you do not have the Valet/Program switch, you may order it at or

Open a door and make sure the dome light is on.

Turn the ignition on to the RUN position or you may also start car.

once for channel 1 (arm/disarm channel).
For Channel 2, press and release twice (trunk release).
For Channel 3, press and release three times (remote start).

One sensor should always be yellow, the other should be SOLID green.
If the lights are not consistently SOLID, you have a sensor issue.
TEST: If the door closes completely by pressing and holding down the wall pad button, you have a sensor problem.

Check to make sure the are aimed properly at each other.
Check the wire at the sensor and more importantly at the machine (If the wires are loose at the machine (terminals) it can cause this problem. Remember the machine does shake a lot.
If the wires are good, the sensors are aimed correctly, you have a sensor issue and need to loacte a replacement set.

Garage door opener

This is cause when there is something blocking one of the sensors. Look on each side of your garage door near the concrete when the door is closed and you will see small sensors that are facing each other.. Make sure they are not misaligned and that nothing is in front of them.

Check to see if the Vacation switch is locked on your wall console. It is a switch on the top of the black wall button. If that is not the problem it sounds like you need to program your remotes. Drop down the plastic cover towards the back of the unit There is a learn button push that and a red LED will come start flashing press and hold the button on your remote until the LED stops flashing (solid red) press the button on your remote again and the light will go off. This will program a remote

Door ups and downs

Holding the button down just bypasses the sensors.
Your sensors are not adjusting correctly, or there is a short in the wires.
The back of the machine has a little yellow light, count the flashes and corelate it to the troubleshooting portion of the manual to confirm.

The orange light is a constant, the green sensor needs to be adjusted until you get a solid green light.

Remote has stopped working

Its possible you held the learn button down too long, this will erase all remotes. The best way to fix this is to press the learn button once and the hold down the button on the remote until the lights blink, you will have to do this with all remotes.
hope this helps.
