Water leaking as soon as dishwasher is turned on - the supply hose is OK and the draining hose is OK / water is coming from underneath where the bottom tower is housed.

The drain hose may have disconnected from the dishwasher or at the waste trap or the drain hose maybe broken.
If the drain hose is OK then the water supply hose may have disconnected from the tap or the water hose is broken and fresh water is leaking from this hose.

You use your dishwasher so often with no problems that any issue can seem like a major disaster. But you can fix a drainage problem with a trip to the hardware or plumbing supply store and a few minutes of effort. If your dishwasher doesn't drain properly, the drain hose is probably kinked or damaged, interfering with the flow of water out of the dishwasher. You can fix the problem by replacing the drain hose yourself.
Difficulty: Moderately Easy Instructions And 4 Tools (Material) Needed To Solve The Drain Problem.

1. Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher. Turn off the dishwasher's power supply by unplugging it (under the sink) or turning off the appropriate circuit breaker.
   
2. Pull the dishwasher all the way out from the cabinet so you can access the drain hose and pump near the back.
   
3. Locate the drain pump and hose. The drain hose is the larger of the two hoses attached to the dishwasher and is generally located close to the bottom back of the dishwasher.
   
4. Place a shallow dish under the drain pump. Loosen the clamp on the drain hose close to the drain pump, using pliers or a screwdriver. Pull the drain hose off of the pump, allowing any water to drip into the dish below.
   
5. Remove the other end of the drain hose from the garbage disposal or drain by loosening the hose clamp and pulling the hose off of the connection.
   
6. Attach the replacement hose to the drain pump and the drain or garbage disposal. Attach new hose clamps, and tighten them to hold them in place.
   
7. Turn the power and water back on, and run the dishwasher through a cycle to make sure that the dishwasher drains properly and the hose doesn't leak. Tighten the hose clamps if you find any leaks.

The LE error on the LG dishwasher means that the dishwasher believes there is a leak because the level of the water is decreasing between the time the wash or rinse cycle begins (with the proper amount of water) and before the cycle ends and the water is pumped out.

After you have ruled out a real leak (check closely underneath) then here is the next step. 99% of the problem with LE is caused by the drain hose not having a high point between where it connects at the dishwasher and the drain.

The fastest (but not best) way to fix this is create a loop in the drain hose raised high up underneath the counter top. Attach it so it will not fall back. The cause of the "leak" is the natural siphon effect that can develop when the drain hose has not high point. (exactly like the siphon tube you may have created in science class.)

is it leaking from the door or from underneath it. If it leaks from the door then you need a new seal. If it is leaking from underneath it could be the waterline coming into the dishwasher or the drain hose. Both fittings are underneath the dishwasher and are accessible through the lower panel on the face. GE Dishwashers are equipped with an anti-syphon ball that generally dislodges itself and goes into the drain line. To remove it, you'll have to pull it out of it's hole. Turn the supply off and open the kick plate. Remove the supply line from the dishwasher and the drain line free from the air gap. Remove the two screws that hold it to the counter top and pull it out. Remove the lower rack and spray arm. To remove the spary arm you have a 1/4 inch head screw to undo, and on the back of the spary arm is a plastic clip. Use a small screwdriver to depress from the spray arm and pull the spray arm off. There are then two 1/4 inch screws that hold the food screen on and remove the basket. Now, underneath the dishwasher is a large manilla-colored hose with a large hose clamp that must be loosened. Pull this loose and a bit of water as well as the ball will come out. Reattach and drop the ball into the left hole under the basket. Reconnect everything and slide the dishwasher back in. Reinstall drain hose and supply line. Turn on supply. Run and look for leaks.

Then pry the seal out of its housing and replace it.

sounds like the water outlet has a leak - probably a simple 'o'ring problem - these can wear.
