There is no lamp in a plasma TV. If you have a "blackout" display, the unit must be taken to a service center for repair. It could be as simple as a blown fuse in the power supply or as complicated as a shorted picture tube--yes, that whole display is ONE large gas-filled tube. Definitely check for warranty status on your unit. Did you buy extended warranty coverage?Have your receipt, warranty info, etc. when you take the unit in...most major suppliers can look up all the info on their computers but, if you have an extended warranty, you'll need that folder with the contract number. The lamps appear to be off a bit and the overall picture is "sphered". I see the picture is blurred or as my daughter says it almost appears like in a 3D movie. The red lamp, blue lamp, green lamp don't line up.
