You can call your local part store and ask them for the price to this part and install it yourself if you have the correct tools to access it. Repair for this part is impractical. Replacement part should be sought and installed. :)

Hope this helps you,

Joe

How do I repair a leak coming from water pump gasket?

If it's leaking from the gasket you'll have to replace the gasket. If coolant is leaking from the hole in the water pump body the water pump seal is leaking. The pump will have to be replaced if the seal is leaking.

My ht3 #4292 is leaking water from the door

If water is coming through the door bellow and into the tub and not the floor, this is commonly caused by a water inlet valve that is leaking by or a pressure switch malfunction. The following link explains how to diagnose the problem to determine which one is causing your problem:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3753262-front_load_washer_fills_when_not_in_use

I included parts resources and instructions on how to replace each component as well.

If you have water leaking on the floor, you may also have a bellow with a rip or tear. If the bellow is leaking, it must be replaced. Pull back the rubber folds and inspect the entire perimeter around the door to be sure. If the bellow needs replaced, the following link explains how:

My clients unit is leaking substaintial water in

Check the drainage hose to see if its connected properly. it is located under the unit. it may be loose or, not connected correctly. if the drainage hose is connected properly, this will be a faulty water valve. replace if found to be faulty.

Water leak from Kenmore elite

If the leaks happens during drain cycle, this is usually because of a leak on the drain pump hose, or because of a faulty drain pump that is leaking.

As the appliance must be taken apart and the pump may need replacement, it is better to call a repairman to do the job.

Check that leak is not from drain hose, from water supply hoses, or from gasket first.

My Dishlex DX102 is leaking water at the front. What is the likely cost of reparing?

If it is leaking at the front it is probably the door gasket, replacing the door gasket is not too difficult, but if you do not fit the new gasket in the proper way, the machine will keep leaking.

The repair generally is between $120/$200, as the part is not too expensive.

Call a repairman in your area and ask a quote for replacing the door gasket on your dishwasher.

Water seeping in dishwasher

If your dishwasher leaks, check these:Main tub seal
Door gasket or seal
Water-inlet valve
Hoses

Main tub seal
Note… If the main motor of your dishwasher is mounted vertically, beneath the center bottom of the dishwasher, the following instructions probably apply to you. But if your motor is mounted horizontally, the pump isn't serviceable--you need to replace the entire pump and motor assembly.

The main tub seal is beneath the drain impeller. It prevents the water in the dishwasher from leaking out near the shaft of the motor. To get to the seal, which is inside the dishwasher, remove the:

1. Lower rack
2. Spray arm
3. Spray arm support
4. Wash/drain impellers

Then pry the seal out of its housing and replace it.

Door gasket or seal
Over time, door gaskets and seals harden and lose their ability to seal properly. You can't repair the seals. You need to replace them if they've begun to leak.

Water-inlet valve
The water-inlet valve, itself, seldom leaks. But, the water-supply line from the house and the rubber tube leading from the valve to the inside of the dishwasher may leak. Tighten or repair/replace these as necessary.

The water-inlet valve could mechanically stick open. When that happens, the water continues to flow into the dishwasher, which then floods your kitchen. Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher, and replace the valve.

Hoses
Behind the lower access panel on your dishwasher are several rubber or plastic hoses. If the leak appears at a connection, try a new clamp. If that doesn't work, replace the hose.

Leaking dishwasher

Are you washing cereal bowls or mixing bowls on the bottom rack? If so, are you placing them in front? Sudden leaks that form huge puddles can often be attributed to improper loading of the dishwasher. Most dishwashers don't have a seal across the tub front. The door closes over it and does a pretty good job of deflecting water back inside the wash cavity. However, if you place bowls in the front on the bottom rack rack they can divert the water right over the tub lip and onto the floor. This is usually the culprit that causes most leaks in dishwashers. Now, if you don't think you have a loading problem, remove the kick panel on the bottom of the dishwasher and check the drain line and pump housing for leaks. Check the door gasket for tears or cracks. Lastly, feel inside the bottom of the door with your hand. You should be able to feel the door insulation. If it is wet, then the problem could be a leak around your soap or rinse-aid dispenser. Depending on the model, some dispensers are mounted to the door with a gasket behind it. Sometimes this gasket can form leaks. I hope this helps.
