Clean the heater throughly to get rid of all the dust and cobwebs that may have accumulated. Then carefully remove and replace the little sensor that has it's tip in the flame when the pilot light is burning and a long very thin copper tube attached. Mine go out about every 3-5 years and they are an easy fix for anyone who can use a screwdriver

Check the pilot lite height is up enough so when the main valve closes, the impending "whuff" when it goes out doesn't blow out the pilot.

do you have adequate "fuel" pressure? it's kinda hard to troubleshoot an appliance from 3,000 miles away.
does it use a millivolt generator to keep the pilot valve open? talk to me using yahoo im - my handle is buffalo12980

Can light the pilot no problem but when the burner kicks on it blows out my pilot light it will run fine for a while than I'll hear my burner kick in and the pilot light goes out what to do?

Call a service engineer tomorrow morning. The thermocouple has a shade over the top to prevent the flame being blown out, yours is either fallen off or needs adjusting. Also the pilot jet might need cleaning or replacing. It MAY need a new thermocouple but it sounds as if it is doing its job.

How do I light my janitrol ucs100-55 heater?

you need to turn on the gas supply. then turn the button on the valve to the "light" position. now press down that button repeatidly until the pilot light lights, when the pilot lights you will need to hold that button down for about 15 seconds. then when you release the button the pilot should stay lit. when it does... turn the button to the "RUN" position. thats it... turn up the thermostat and the heater should kick in.

Pilot light goes out after thermostat kicks off

If it's a direct spark ignition type heater maybe that's how it's designed to.work .When called for heat pilot open allowing gas then ignitor spark and ignite the pilot then gas valve open and allow gas through burner then unit fires off .
Once temp is met pilot valve closes and pilot out .

Pilot light goes out when burners kick on burnham

Get a toothbrush and clean the **** off the pilot, could be partially blocked. Change the safety thermocouple. Check the plenum for cracks. A cracked heat exchanger can cause this.

Water heater pilot light

it also sounds as though the pilot injector could be blocked so when the boiler comes on it extinguishes the pilot & then when the burner goes off boiler shuts down, or also the pilot rate maynot be set right, so when the main burner kicks in it robs the pilot of the gas it requires.
It could be that, or there is lack of ventilation for the boiler, so you get flame lift off when the boiler fires?

Pilot lights fine, furnace fires up, when it turns off the pilot goes out

need to have at least 3 feet of vent out of the roof, if it is to low the coll air will cold soak down to the pilot and shut it down.
