No picture on hdmi2

I have a panasonic th-42px60u set with directv connected to hdmi1 and a dvd player connected to hdmi2. Everything was working just fine until i press a wrong button on the remote (don't remember which one) no i get no picture from the hdmi2 input. The input from hdmi1 works just fine. Any idea as to what I did and how to fix it?

I cannot get my TV to see HDMI2.  My Direct TV box and my Roku-Netflix player work fine in HDMI1.  When either is plugged into HDMI2 I get no signal.
I've try to switch inputs to HDMI2 and it just gets "skipped-over" on the list.  If I input the number directly it doesn't do anything.  On the input list the only inputs I can "see" are those that show up in blue.  The others, including HDMI2 are "grayed-out."  Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    kevin

First of all connect the Direct TV box to HDMI 2 and see if it works there. If it does then the next step is to connect the DVD player to HDMI and see if it wors there. If not then connect the DVD player to the TV using the component inputs and if the DVD player works on those. If it does then maybe the HDMI interface in the DVD player no longer works as it needs to communicate with the TV.

Can't keep the HDMI2 setting for watching streaming channels - TV automatically reverts to HDMI1

That's because you have connected another device in HDMI1, the TV detects it as power on, and then change HDMI2 to HDMI1.

Try to power off the device in hdmi1, or you can even try to change HDMI2 to HDMI1 port ;)

Panasonic plazma tv th-42pd50u. Red light automatically turns on when connected to power and stays on. No clicks, No blinks and No picture. Is this a faulty power supply board?

possible reasons, its in standby, hold in the proper ON button on the tv for up to 20 seconds gently. or try disconnect power(pull plug out) wait 10 seconds, plug back in and turn on using the actual button(holding for up to 20 seconds) NOT THE REMOTE if that does not work, make sure your INPUT is CORRECTLY selected eg you are viewing HDMI1 and NOT HDMI2 for example. there may be different procedures for flashing lights

No inputs

Feed the TV an external signal. That is, connect a DVD player to it, select the appropriate input selection to AV, and see whether there is picture and sound or not. If yes, check and replace the tuner. If not, check and replace the video IF stage.

I do not own a PS/3, but I will try to help just in case you dont get another expert at this late hour....

It sounds like you need to save the changes on your PS/3. It is timing out and going back to default because the changes were not saved.

Hope I helped!

Panasonic DMR-EZ48V. Video is in black and white. No Color. This is brand new.

Go to Menu/Settings and highlight your source --ie. Component, HDMI1, HDMI2 or whatever the source is. Black and White becomes color.

Can't change from HDMI2 back to HDMI1

You need to change via tv selections option for tv, this should be possible by selecting the source for tv feed. This should give various options to select hdmi11, hdmi12, scart1 ect. If remote not working to change look on the tv itself for the control buttons, normally on the back to 1 side (rh from front) then pressing the correct button. If this does not work try turning power off to tv for a couple of minutes and then turning back on. Hope this helps.
