I HAVE A MITSU VS50707 PROJECTION. THE PICTURE BOWES TO THE CENTER OF THE SCREEN AND PICTURE HAS THREE DIFFERENT COLOR HALLOWS. IS THIS A REPAIR THAT CAN BE DONE AT HOME? WHERE CAN I PURCHASE THE PARTS?
This is not a diy repair, unless you have a service manual, can follow a schematic or have circuit repair skills. The main cause is bad convergence ICs (large black ICs mounted to large heatsinks). The ICs go bad and usually take out micro fuses/fusible resistors when they short out. Another problem is they can take out the voltage regulators that feed the ICs. If you don't know where the fuses or the regulators are ( or how to test them) you can cause more damage then good, and turn a inexpensive repair into a very expensive one.

I have a Mitsubishi VS-50707 rear projection TV. When it is first turned on I get various horizonal lines through the picture until it warms up (about 30 min). The TV was purchased in 12/00.
