Lcd monitor working fine but the adjustment screen apears on my monitor in a small square enveloppe how can i restore system thanks in advanceDewulf Jan

I assume by "adjustment screen" you mean the OSD (On Screen Display). This is the box where the menus for adjusting the screen appear. If I'm correct, that means you have pushed the "menu" button on your LCD and need to push it again to turn the OSD off. If pushing it again does not solve the problem I would say it's time to have the LCD repaired. In many, but not all, that OSD goes off on it's own after a bit.

Monitor proplem

That sounds like either bad VGA cable or cable is not seated properly into the monitor or the PC. Try that first. Try it on another PC also. Just need to narrow down the problem. Please post back.

Yellowish screen from boot up.

Once you press the menu button which is on the monitor if you get menu button then try giving reset or restore factory settings in it.

This solves your problem if your RGB colour settings is not configured correctly.

If your problem still persists then there will be problem in the monitor .
As you have mentioned (YOU HAD IT FOR A WHILE) in your problem if you have manufacture warranty then make use of it.

There is no problem with your CPU,motherboard and any other hardware part except the monitor.

Acer monitor

hi, ya had solved this issue many times, the problem is with the switches on the monitor, you will have to clean it or replace it, sometimes a mild hot air blower on the control pannel also helps. but be careful not to over heat the screen, for all this you will have to open the monitor cover to access this switches.. let me know
