Question about Toshiba 43H71 43" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

Attaching the Green board back to the brown one.

The two large white connectors with approx a dozen connections a piece
will not slide back in to the female plugs that connect the brown board to the Green board that I had to pull to solder the new stk-110 and heat sink.
I have fingers made for a spike mall or a framing axe.It took me better then an afternoon to get all those new pins soldered hopefully back correctly back in with out shorts or bad connections,But I may never see if I repaired
it ,if I can not put it back together. At least i know how they planned the obsolecents on this and every model.I,m no repair men But I can sell anything,I think a T.V. fan kit would sell like hot cakes.Just use a computer
Fan like they vend at Micronectics.Repackage it with instructions for installation manual and a lifetime warrenty. Thank you for reading my B.S.

A simple light detector on landscape lights would turn on the fan.My Tv problem still has not been fixed yet. Please help me get the boards back together so I can a least Know if my soldering was O/K.I put a lot of time, but lerned some things about Electrical components and why Tvs die so quickly. If know one can help me with these poorly designed connectors ,I guess I.ll heave the set.I am going to pick up a panasonic Rectangler 43Inch ,that the owner says there is a light out yet he said he was watching it in B/W.Besides the stk degousing

chips I was wondering if the tube or gun is the Same?in both the toshiba and the pana.My

80 year old Tv.guy is telling me he allready is get flat panels in and of course he has to buy the whole board for mucho $ .until the venders will be able to sell parts when the TV COS contracts runn out. Most of the flat problems are heat even though thier starting to put in fans so they last as long as the warrenty is up.Somone could make big bucks with an add on fan assembly that attached around the areas with the most problems.

If I can't get neither one of these projections ,I,m sure thier will be tons in the paper after christmas once everybody gets a flat panels that last 3-4 years ,with a very limited Parts list.

if your talking about the four white connectors? if thats the case they should just snap in, if there broke or you can get them in you might have to do it the hard way remove them and sold wire directly

Somthing is on one of the Mirrors It projects a yellow circle over the image. I have taken the projector apart. I am trying to Remove the board but can't figure out how to diconect the three ribbon cables...

Look at the surface mounted connectors for the LCD panel ribbon cables.
You will notice that the leading edge of the connector closest to the ribbon cable where it enters is a different colour.
Generally its a light brown colour. you gently slide this brown piece towards the ribbon cable about 1mm forward until it stops. then the ribbon cable can be withdrawn away from the connector.
the green lcd ribbon cable is sometime inserted underside. the others above the brown piece.
Note which cables are above and which below when putting them back.

Dvd tray will not open

Had same problem. Unscrew back TV. Unscrew 2 screws connecting VCR/DVD from TV Base. Unscrew DVD housing on all sides (approx 6 screws). At this point you can see the detached DVD unit. Facing the draw. look under it for a white plastic piece that you can slide to the right that should disengage the DVD's circular rotator from the dvd and slide the door open.

If that does not work disconnect the DVD from the 2 wire connector at the TV motherboard and dissassemble the black plastic DVD unit. Flip it over and manipulate the white plastic gear which will disengage the center rotator.

I have a f350 crew cab 1997 5.8 and while drivin and after take off the truck loses power and shakes then stops seems like only when accelerating this happens.

Hello! There are two sensors that will cause this problem both can be tested...If you have a volt meter...If not, let me know...
#1 is the Throttle Positioning Sensor (TPS)...A black round device that is bolted to the throttle body with a three wire connector...Wire colors are...Gray/White...Brown/White...And Gray/Red...Using two safety pins plug them into the rear of the in place connector on the Gray/White...And Brown/White...Place + probe of meter set to read 5 volts on the Gray/White...And - probe on Brown/White...Start engine...At idle must read less than 1 volt (.85)...As you slowly increase throttle meter must rise smoothly to 4 volts at open throttle...If voltage jumps or acts erratic the sensor is defective...

#2 is the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor...Also mounted to throttle body...Three wire connector with the following wire colors...Light Green/Blue...Gray/Red...And Brown/White...Using the same technique...Pin the rear of the connector on the Light Green/Blue...And the Brown/White...Place + probe on Light Green/Blue and - probe on Brown/White...Turn key to on (don't start)...Record reading...Move Light Green/Blue probe with safety pin and push it into the Gray/Red wire...Record reading....Also check the vacuum line which is connected to the Map Send results...

Jayco camper has 6-plug connector------car has flat 4-plug connector where do green, yellow, brown and white wires from car flat 4-plug connector connect to on yellow, blue, brown, red, green and white wires...

It would be easiest, and best, if you were to upgrade the cars' trailer connector. The 4 way just supplies brake, parking, turnsignal, and a ground. The colors are the same on the 6 way, but 2 lines are added, usually for a electric brake controller and aux. circuit. Be careful about using the battery line (Red) on the 6 way connector unless you are also upgrading the white wire to a heavier gauge (at least the same size as red).

Green - Stop and Right Turn Signal (4/5/6/7 way)
Yellow - Stop and Left Turn Signal (4/5/6/7 way)
Brown - Running Lights (tail, side, tag) (4/5/6/7 way)
White - Ground / Negative (4/5/6/7)
Blue - Electric Brakes (5/6/7 way)
Red - Aux. charge line for emergency break away, battery charger, etc. (7 way)
Purple - Aux. backup lights / other purpose (7 way)

What wiring to use to connect our RJ45 connectors for computer

The order you give is right. Ethernet uses the orange pair and the green pair (1, 2, 3, 6). Phone uses the blue pair (4, 5).

Im sittin here with the wiring harness for my 99 altima, and the wiring thing from the back of my pioneer deh p6700MP, i have no clue which ones to match with the other one?

Here's the manual for the Pioneer -->LINK<--.

This is the 2 options of install wiring on a 97 Altima, I'm not sure if it's exactly the same, I suggest that you don't trust these pinout if yours differ at all.

Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Pink
Radio Switched 12V+ Wire: Blue
Radio Ground Wire: Chassis
Radio Illumination Wire: Red/Green
Radio Dimmer Wire: Red/Yellow
Antenna Trigger Wire: Green/White
Front Speaker Size: 4′ x 6′
Front Speaker Location: Doors
Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Brown
Left Front Speaker Wire (-): Black/Red
Right Front Speaker Wire (+): Light Green
Right Front Speaker Wire (-): Black/Yellow
Rear Speaker Size: 6 1/2′
Rear Speaker Location: Rear Deck
Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Orange
Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Black/Pink
Right Rear Speaker Wire (+): Blue
Right Rear Speaker Wire (-): Black/White

THERE IS NO CONTACT PIN OR EXISTING WIRE THAT IS GROUND !!!!! (some really strange things happen to aftermarket radios if you think the Red/yellow wire on pin 9 of the 10-pin connector is ground”!!!!!

Large 10-Pin Connector:
Constant Hot (Memory or Clock) =RED wire pin8
Switched (Ignition) Hor = Blue wire pin4
Left Front Speaker + = Blue/white pin1
Left Front Speaker - = Blue/yellow pin5
Right Front Speaker + = Brown pin2
Right Front Speaker - = Brown/white pin6

The Smaller (6-pin) connector is only for the rear Speaker:
Left Rear + = Red pin5
Left Rear - = Green pin4
Right Rear + = Blue pin2
Right Rear - = Pink pin6

Found this on Howard Forums. Sorry no photos.

Take off your battery, unscrew the screws on the back of the phone with a T6 screw driver.

Pry off the back plate, lift up circuit board gently(be mindful of flex cable) remove the flex cable from mail board by lifting brown part by the connector,

Unscrew then next 2 set of screws(be careful of flex cable!) remove the LCD board from the faceplate.

Now put the LCD Panel into the new faceplate. Find the new back slide and put your sliding rails on.(you may also put the slide magnets on from the old housing) carefully thread your flex cable through the opening.

Snap the Back slider on and then screw in the screws, then take the keypad housing and screw it into the slide rails.

Reconnect the flex cable by putting the brown hatch up(gently with finger nail) gently feeding the cable into the connector until the white line is about to the end of the connector.

Then put the brown thing down and apply little pressure.

Put the mail circuit board back into the phone with the headset jack going in first.

Then snap it back into place.

Transfer your speaker over the the new back housing with the prongs facing up.

Then screw on the back housing.

Replace battery and your DONE!!!

Best of Luck.
