Question about Philips SPC700NC Webcam

1 Answer

Vista software download

None of the solutions offered have worked for the Philips SPC700NC Personal Web Camera and Vista software. It is still not being recognized by my Toshiba Satellite with Windows Vitsa. It powers on - but is not recognized and can't be used.

I have exactly the same problem as others, Vista and now now camera. What amazes me is that either one of these companies can get away without providing a solution.

Is there a solution in site?

I have the Vista Basic program and I lost my disc for the Phillips SPC700NC camera and it seems to have let me download the software but I don't know how to get it to take pictures, it seems something is missing.

Philips SP700NC PC Camera

Hello, I bought a HP Media Center PC and tried to install my SPC700NC. I received all your error messages and more. I found the driver by accident installed it and have used Skype and Yahoo Messenger all is well and I'm happy. Download a Vista driver (File saved is called spc700nc_37_drw_eng) with this link (copy and paste): http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?slg=ENG&cat=PC_CAMERAS_CA&sct=WEBCAMS_SU&session=20070922170231_67.174.87.194&grp=PC_PRODUCTS_GR&ctn=SPC700NC/37&mid=Link_Software&hlt=Link_Software
