Navman ezy not connecting to desktop

I had the same problem here in New Zealand. Navman would be recognized using USB.

I tried it with Windows Vista and Windows XP. In the end, I connected to windows 7, it was immediately recognized. I had the option to apply a few upgrades which I did.

After the upgrade, it now also works for windows vista and windows XP

Navman n40i smart st compatability problem with vista.

Are you not able to run the activesync program despite the Vista warning? Did you try running it in compatibility mode? What happnes when you try to connect with sync center (what happens...any error messages)? Regarding the mobile device centre...did you check that McAffe and windows firewall is not blocking it from internet access?

After installing Garmin 405 drivers on my new computer sync does'nt work, no device found

May nt be compatible with your new OS ...Check the Windows 7 Hardware Compatibility List for full details and more information. Search Windows 7 Compatibility to find the list. You can also check Vista, XP and other OS from there.

Thanks for your question this morning ...

How do I upgrade my software for my 1430 with an apple mac computer?

hi sk_keroes

currently you cant update your magellan (or any other magellan) with a have to use Windows XP with service pack 3 or vista...some can use windows 7 but not many..i recommend finding someone with XP, because vista trends to screw around with the update..i just did my 1430 with XP and it worked great, only took about 2 minutes to go from 1.13 (or what ever it was) to 3.12

i have no idea why Magellan would leave so many mac users helpless, they must have something against apple.

Just received my repaired roadmate 1340 from the company. Have connected USB ...Where can I get a copy of the pc application. I cannot find my original CD

You can download "Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1" straight from Microsoft. This is the latest version to use with Vista and Windows 7.

If you are still using XP, then do a Microsoft search for "Microsoft Activesync".

This is really all you need. Thanks, Bill

LG LN735 updates map

LG LN735 map is compatible with "Desitnator"

Destinator released a 2009.q3 map upgrade.

Not sure if I'm allow to post a link, but if you do a little search, I'm sure you'll be able to find the files.

To upload the files onto your LG LN735, you will need either ActiveSync for windows xp or Windows Mobile Device Center for Vista. (you can download these program for free).

Now just CUT and Paste the map folders off your GPS onto your computer (this way you have some sort of backup). The map folders are located "/residentflash/lge/lgenavi" on your GPS unit.

Now just copy and paste the new map files (Destinator 2009 q3)back onto your GPS. Be warned, this process will take over 3.5 hours.

Reboot your GPS, and enjoy.

Pockect pc is not connecting with disktop pc

Google activesync which is freely available as download on internet. If you run Vista, connect via Windows Mobile Device Center on your pc. The companion disc merely holds activesync and a 2002 version of outlook, which, if you have not got a more recent copy anyway, can also be downloaded.
