The CDs won't play on any of my DVDs

Most CD/ DVD writing programs I have used ask, "Do you want to use this disk on other devices and computers?" or words to that effect. All you need to do is just put a check in the box. This happens when you are ready to remove the CD or DVD from the drive. Then the program runs a "Finalizing" program before the disk automatically ejects.
