my westinghouse LCD model LTV-27w2-b keeps cycling through on and off. Will be on for a few seconds, then shuts off and comes back on in a few seconds. What might be causing this?

- I solved the problem, or at least the problem went away. I took all the covers off the back of the LCD TV and used a small handheld vacuum cleaner with a small nozzle to clean out any dust that had settled on the circuit boards. After that I put the vacuum hose on the blowing side and again blew all the areas above and below the circuits boards to dislodge and dust, etc., that the vacuum might not have captured. I put the whole thing back together, turned it on and it has worked flawlessly since. Maybe some dust settled and short circuited a minor circuit.

I have this running thru a cable box and haven't
changed anything for a lllonnnggg time. It is using the YPbPr2 ( three wire )
connection.
After watching a show the screen will go black. the blue light stays on.
After a while of powering the TV on and off, the screen will come back and
usually runs the rest of the time we watch it.
Any help is appreciated

I have a 40" Sony Bravia KDL-40v5100 that is approx. 1 month old and is hooked up via HDMI to Comcast HD. Whenever I was changing channels there was a popping sound, so I called Comcast and a Tech came and changed the HD box, and the popping noise went away for a while, but now it has returned. The noise is not quite as pronounced, but it is still there. I am not sure what to do at this point, as it seems nobody seems to want to take ownership for the problem, Sony/Comcast. I wonder if this is happening with other makes of LCD's or if it is only Sony.
