AC unit outside blowing out cold air, vents

AC unit outside blowing out cold air...a lot of cold air. House is warm, vents shooting out warm air

- Gas furnace. Not only is the fan outside blowing out cold air, it seems to be louder or faster than usual. Turned the unit off until repairman can come. Just have fan running.

If you have a heat pump probably there's a wrong connectionin the thermostat, but if is not a heat pump ,the compresor is not working or the unit leaked all the refrigerant.

Sounds like compressor not running. may be a bad capacitor, could also be low on freon.
