There are several ways to do that. You can simply copy and paste or install the software to sync the data from your pc to your flash drive.

When you plug it in the USB port, wait until the computer recognizes the drive and choose the option OPEN FOLDER, then copy and paste the files as you do in In windows or linux (it depends of the OS).

Here is an example: http://www.anim-fx.com/tutorials/copy-and-paste.htm

Hello,
It is simple. You insert it into a usb 2.0 port on your computer. Windows will recognize it and it will show in the My computer window. You click on the icon for the drive and you can explore what is in it.
1.
If you have files (documents, pictures, etc.) you select them, right click mouse button to copy them ( CTRL C) then you open the Cruzer and you right click inside the drive window ( CTRL V) and click Paste.
.2. You can open 2 windows side by side, one for the folder that contains the file to be transferred, the other for the Cruzer. You will have to reduce the sizes of the windows. Then You click on the file to be transferred and maintain the click. After that you drag the mouse cursor and drop it in the Cruzer window. (That is called Drag and Drop)

Hope it helps.

- I forgot to tell you that the Cruzer micro shows in Windows explor as two drives, one with a CD icon, the other as a regular mass storage drive. When you transfer the files, do not drop them on the CD icon, but on the other. The CD can be explored but there is not much space there.

My kids just got the same type of drive for school. You should be able to plug it into a USB port on your computer. If you have windows, usually a window will pop up once it's installed asking what you would like to do. You should be able to see what the name of the flash drive is on the top of that screen. Right click on your start button and choose explore. Once that window opens, you should be able to find the flash drive in the tree window on the left. Just find your files you wish to transfer, right click and copy them, then right click on the flash drive and choose paste.
