HAVE YOU TRIED THE PANASONIC WEBSITE FOR THE MANUAL? MOST CAMERA COMPANIES CARRY MANUALS ONLINE AND YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD A COPY THERE. I WOULD START WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE BRANCH. IF YOU NEED MORE HELP, JUST REPLY.

I hate to say this but I think your camcorder is trying to tell you something...
Like whe a Dog goes to his bowl and barks and you look down and see no food in it...

If it say's service then bring it for service.
