Question about Rangemaster 110 (Gas) Kitchen Range
I just had this problem, it was due to the button that the lid presses down when its lifted (the safety cut-off release). The button had siezed and the bar that presses it had bent around it so was not pressing it down. Some wd40 and gentle coaxing has it all back working agiain.

I have the same problem. I think it is to do with one of the electric controllers. I'll let you know if I find anything!
