fan runs but the heat will cycle once and then stop, checked and replaced the ignitor and servised the unit, what's up

it was a roof top carrier unit for heating and ac model number as follows 48HJR014-56185 tried a hot suface ignitor but problem still there

I have the same problem.

need to find a way to support a 10 ton RTU on a steel joist roof. wt = 925#

figured it out, the problem was return air ducting was capped off, by the construction crew, thanks

A model number may help. Also, are you refering to the inducer fan?

If so, jump out the pressure switch. If it runs, start looking for a blockage in the combustion chamber, blockage in the line to the pressure switch, a bad inducer fan (not getting enough pressure to close switch) or a bad pressure switch.
