Re: E64

You could also try to clear the Cache to do this access 'memory' in the system blade, and then highlight the hard drive. Now press:

Y, X, X, LB, RB, X, X.

The following message should appear: "Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?"

Accept and the Cache should be Cleared, YOUR SAVES WONT BE AFFECTED, BUT you will have to download again any Game Updates you previously had...

This option is not intended for public use, but ive read it helps on hard drive issues...

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK (even if it isn't really dangerous)...

What's wrong with my Xbox....

You have an system error which needs to be sent into microsoft to fix. There is other solutions though, try going to your local video game store, or computer repair shop. Since the Xbox 360 is just a computer they might be able to fix it. In my city there is a few gaming shops that service 360's for a reasonable price. You could also do a google search for servicing a Xbox 360 and try fixing it yourself. Hope this helped you with your problem.

Everytime I turn on the console it shows a E64 or E65 code

This is caused by a problem with the DVD drive. One cause is the tray not being completely closed when you turn it on. Another, more likely cause, is that the person who returned this console tried to hack the DVD drive firmware to play burned games and broke the console. If so, return it and ask for another one. Hope it helps!

Game freezes during game play

Your Xbox is probably overheating, it just may not overheat to the point where it red rings. I would suggest red ring fixing it, and post results if you try it.
