Maybe the problem is with the voice mail sent itself. Maybe it was recorded in a very low quality that's why what you receive was low sound and indistinguishable. Compare it with your other received voice mail, if all is like that then maybe there is something wrong with your messenger voice mail setting. If not, then the problem is probably the voice mail sent itself.
Verify the email address that it is going to. Try sending another test message but cc yourself in it see if you receive it. If the mail is received by you but not them than it is an issue on their mail server. If it not received by either it is an issue with your mail server.
this could be resolved by contacting "yahoo-help desk", either send e-mail to customer support asking them to refresh your account or fill the feedback form and get contacted by yahoo helpdesk.

If it's with in the past two weeks Usually your companies System admin can track the delivery of incoming and out going messages. They will not be able to say that the message was delivered to your inbox but they will be able to say if it reached yahoo's server!
