Signal strength? My nokia 3220 has signal/reception problems. It will be full strength then cut to nothing and then come on and off when it never used to do this before. Can I do anything to fix it?

Maybe a firmware update / flash will do the trick. If you have the datacable and software you can do it - or a service center can do it - it should not cost more than $30

What can I do to improve my nokia e5 reception capability

these are some codes that you can try to improve reception capability of your phone
on your phone's homescreen enter #3370# to enhance the full rate codec of your phone. it will increase signal strength and better signal reception. But the battery will drain faster
to deactivate it enter #3370* the phone will restart (turn off and on) and it will increase battery life but it will receive less signal from the network
make sure also that you are not covering the signal receiver on your phone

Its very slow in processing any thing

Try these codes:

*#3370# - Enhanced Full Rate Code (EFR) activation. Increase signal strength, better signal reception. It also help if u want to use GPRS and the service is not responding or too slow. Phone battery will drain faster though.

*#3370*
- (EFR) deactivation. Phone will automatically restart. Increase battery life by 30% because phone receives less signal from network.

My mobile is not getting network so what i want to

Hi,

You cannot do anything for this problem. This problem is because of the structures around your home. The walls around your home is blocking/interfering with the signal coming inside and the mobile is unable to pick up the signal.

Please try this code

*#3370# - Enhanced Full Rate Codec (EFR) activation. Increase signal strength, better signal reception. It also help if u want to use GPRS and the service is not responding or too slow. But phone battery will drain faster though.

*#3370* - (EFR) deactivation code

If it doesnt work then you cannot do anything else.

Thanx

I have a new Onkyo TX-SR508 receiver. When listening to FM radio the audio cuts out repeatedly for anything from a few seconds to a minute. Power fluctuation is very unlikely to be the problem. Signal...

Does the display show "tuned" or "FM Stereo"? This would normally indicate a good reception. The tuner has a signal level threshold and if the signal gets to week, the receiver mutes to prevent noise in the speakers. Swithing to mono make reception less intolerant. Does the problem also occur, when you switch to mono?

Casio atomic watch only has intermittent receive indicator

The receive indicator tells you the strength of the signal when the timing signal was transmitted, (this occurs only during the night).

The strength of the signal dictates how much of the indicator is shown i.e. full strength, full picture, half strength, half picture, no picture, no signal.

Signal strength seems to vary with location (how far you are from the transmitter), so perhaps you are in a poor reception area.

Poor signal reception

Try to use your phone outdoor and observe the signal. If the signal strength is high, then maybe there is some interference with the signal. Try also to check your phone services, they maybe have a technical problem.
