Re: Sound

First make sure it is not muted. You can also check and maybe update the sound card drivers.

It's also possible that it's a hardware problem, e.g. broken speaker wires.

You made sure the volume is turned up and not muted?

For the sake of it, I would download and reinstall the Audio Drivers.

Get onlineand got to In the google search box type: "DellSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the drivers.

The sound on my satellite m105-s3084 stopped working

Go to device manager, if the sound card has a yellow exclamation point near it, then the driver is at fault. You can simply reinstall the driver or remove the sound card and restart the computer. Windows will discover the sound card and install the driver

My laptop's sound is suddenly stopped

Right click on the my computer ICON and choose manage, then brose to device manager and see if the Sound device has a yellow ! over it if so right click on the device and choose update driver, and browse to you driver folder usually c:\ manufactors name \ Drivers\ Audio and then choose .inf file if you don't see one then see if it has a setup.exe and run it. Which should reinstall your sound driver.

I have no sound on my HP Pavillion laptop

I had the same problem, but now its solved!

Brieftly speaking, my internal speaker stopped producing sound, but when I plug earphones in, there is sound in the earphones.

Just plug in-and-out ur earphones several times (it took me 5 tries) and voila internal speakers work again!

I think there is a mechanical sensor inside the sound output (plug for the earphone) so that once it senses a plug getting in, it shuts internal speaker.

Maybe the mechanical sensor was jammed (spring problem i guess) and it still believe that u have ur earphones plugged-in. "Clogging" the hole for the earphones would allow the spring to spring back to initial position...

Hope it helps

Sound problem on my sony vaio laptop~

You may have a problem with your sound driver. Uninstall your sound driver, follow this link and download the current one for your version of Windows:

While you're there, you should really update all your drivers. Hope it sorts out your sound problem though.
