I have found that while playing my music, a song will be playing, will finish, and then my phone shuts itself off. When i hit power, it wont turn back on. i need to open the back and remove the battery to get it to work again.
I've only had the phone for a week
I have a solution for you, throw the phone into garbage. Just look at how many people on internet have exact same problem with this phone - it switches itself off all the time. Their customer care ignores this problem, and firmware updates do not exist for this phone. This is my first LG phone and it is definitely my last. The phone is a piece of junk and you should sell it to someone even less informed and buy a Nokia or Motorola. It's not an easy solution, but it is the only one.

Hi, You will probably have to copy them from the card to the phone itself. Just navigate to the SD card, choose the song, hit options, copy, a window should open asking where to, if not, navigate to your music folder, hit options, paste.
If this helps plz rate this 'fixya', if you need more help just leave a comment & I'll be happy to get more info for you. Thank you kindly.
I had the same problem. I put music on my SD card, and whenever I tried to play it, my phone would reset. I looked through the files, and found that the songs i had bought on iTunes were all in MP4 format. I downloaded the 4media mp4 to mp3 converter, and converted the files. When I put the card back into my phone, the music player worked perfectly!
Note: MP4 files DO NOT have question marks beside them in the phone. The only way you can tell is to highlight the files on a computer. Hope this was a help!!
When i want to transfer songs to my phone, all i do is connect it to the computer with a usb cord, and i transfer my songs from my music folder (mine wont work on itunes eaither, so just put them in a regular music folder) to my phone by right clicking on the song, and going down to send to... and then you select the option that is your phone. mine is Removable disk (J) and they send.
When i first bought my memory card, it wasnt working, so i went to my cell phone carrier and they programed my phone so that i could transfer to my phone. So that might be why its not working too.
Had the same problem with being able to load MP3 songs onto the phone but they would not play. Elapsed song time indicator remained at 0.00.
In Windows Media Player, select Sync Menu......then Samsung Juke........then Format. The warning states that you will lose all data. This only pertains to the songs that you cannot get to work anyway. Your stored phone #'s will still be there after the reformat.
I reformatted and reloaded the MP3's and everythings now works just fine.
ok, I have managed to use my sandisk 512mb card to put on music...even though I didnt know you had to format the disk in phone first (I dont recommend because all my music is individual clips and not in my music file), however once you see that the music is on the card via "my files" I went to the music player and hit options...then hit "add music from" then hit "memory card"...now you must put a check mark by all the music files you want to add to the music player (or choose "all" and hit ok) This will put your chosen songs off your card into the music player and you can see the song title at the top of your player screen and use the arrows to move through your songs/clips. Choose the song and hit play.
