sorry... but yahoo has closed its chat room service. Now yahoo users can not use chat rooms as it is closed or ever. :(

if you want to chat on yahoo messenger than log in with your account and go to messenger-->yahoo chat-->join room and select the room you like.after that they will redirect you to enter captcha page.fill it and get ready for chat.

sign in your Yahoo Messenger. Then go to MESSENGER, then YAHOO! CHAT, then JOIN ROOM
MESSENGER is located at the upper portion beside the CONTACTS. i hope this helps. goodluck!

at yahoo messanger go to messanger tab>yahoo!chat>join chat room
and you can chose the chat room that you want to join

Download the Messenger from Yahoo.com, Launch it, Click on the plus sign(+) (which is right underneath the contacts tab) to add a certain person with either their Messenger ID or Email address and choose there network, press next, add any additional information you want, click finish, double click on there name, and start typing, you will know if they are online or not if there smiley is yellow or gray or you can join a chat room by going to The tab *messenger*, then to yahoo chat, and click join a room, and choose what room to join and begin chatting.

please note that ur present version is corrupted. so u must first uninstall this? just follow me to uninstall ur presnt version? okayy

step 1)Open My computer - Control Panel - Add or Remove programs and click and open this file and when it is opend, scroll down and select Yahoo Messenger and click " chang./Removel? ur your messenger wl be uninstalled?

4) Scroll down and click on" Yahoo Chat" and Select " Join a Room" and click
5) On "Join Room " page Scroll down and select " Regional" and click and select the Country u want? Say " India" (if ur country is India or choose any country u like) and click on it and then all the rooms will appear on the right half of the page?
6) Select the Yahoo Public Room u want to be in? Say " Delhi Global Chat" and click on it?
then the yahoo wl start to connect to the room and u must click " Enter Chat" box
7) Now u r near the room and here u wl be asked" To enter the chat room, please enter the characters shown above". U just type whatever excatly character is there in side the rectangular slot and click " Submit".
Now u hv entered achat room and so see there are many ids just like u and u click someoen and say hi and get chatting

Hello Friend, To Enter a Yahoo Public Chat Rooms/Room...

• Sign in with your account in Yahoo Messenger.
• Go to the Menu Bar.
• Click Messenger. A drop down Menu will open
• Click Join Room.
• A New Window will be Open. Select the Chat Rooms from this Window.
• Select the Chat Channel.
• A New Window will open. Click Enter for this Window.
• A New Window will Open. Submit the Code written in Upper and Lower Case Letters. Code must be the same written in the Picture.
• A New Window will open. Noe you Entered in the Chat Room.
• Now you can click any person's Name and start chatting with anyone you want.
