Not able to enter phone number under new receipient dia

After creating phone folder when i am trying to add phone numbers under new receipient the programme vanishes.I am trying for past three weeks.But when the same software is installed in the office there is no problem.Kindly help me

This usually occurs after an Internet Explorer upgrade. I spent days banging my head against the wall searching for solutions, when I stumbled across this. It fixes the problem every time.

WinFax PRO hangs or shuts down
- during installation
- when prompting for a phone number/CSID
- editing a phonebook entry
- adding/editing an IP address, or setting up Host Sharing

The problem started occuring after installing Internet Explorer 7/8.


SOLUTION:

1. In CONTROL PANEL, Click on REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE OPTIONS

2. Click on the LANGUAGES Tab.

3. Under "TEXT SERVICES AND INPUT LANGUAGES" Click on the DETAILS button.

4. Click the ADVANCED Tab.

5. Under System Configuration, enable the option "Turn off advanced text services" (Put the CHECK mark in this box.)

6. Click OK.

7. Restart the computer and then try WinFax PRO / TalkWorks PRO again. Number entry should now work in WinFax.

8. Now go back to the control panel following the steps above and undo step 5, un-check the option "Turn off advanced text services."


Note

• To open Regional and Language Options, click Start, click Control Panel, click Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options, and then click Regional and Language Options.

• Use this procedure to turn off handwriting recognition, speech recognition, and some accessibility features temporarily. These services can affect performance, and if you are not using them with your current program, you can turn them off temporarily.

• If you are not using a text service at all, you should remove it.

• Turning off text services does not affect multiple languages or keyboards that you have added under Installed services on the Text Services and Input Languages dialog box.

Click the "Start Now" button to begin.
Enter your personal information and create a password.
" Make sure the CAPS key is off when you enter your password.
Passwords are case-sensitive.
Read the user agreement and privacy policy and then click "I Agree, Create My Account" at the bottom of the page.
PayPal registration =password ,bank card /credit card, phone numbers home/mobile ,email adress and a postal adress.
This will take you to a screen where you have to enter your bank account information so that you can send and receive money.
Enter your bank name and type of account, checking or savings.
Then enter your bank routing number.
It is usually the set of numbers at the bottom of your check all the way to the left.

This is usually the set of numbers in the middle on the bottom of your check.

go to message, then open message center number, set it to default. save and exit. restart the phone and again go to the message, go to " create message and now write a text, add the receipient and press send.

  • Create a new contact in your phone by selecting one of two options. First, enter a telephone number as if you were about to dial it. When you do, you will see the option to "store" it, this button is located at the bottom left side of the screen. Just hit the button and it will take you to a screen titled "Save." Select "Create new." Choose the category you want the number to be stored as. Alternatively, add the number as a contact


    Select the "Contacts" button at the bottom right hand of the screen. This will then retrieve your full contact list. Once you are there, select the "Options" button at the bottom right side of the screen. Once you do this you will be taken to another screen titled "Options." You can either press the number "1" to select the "New contact" option or press the "Ok" button by pushing the center button on the directional pad above the number keypad. You can now add all of the information that you want.


    Enter the name of the contact. This field will already be highlighted. You can enter the name of the contact by using the number keypad below.     How to install new doanloaded game from PC to Samsung Mobile phone (SGH-L700 Model)


    How to install Java games on the Samsung L700 without any software or drivers
    (I've done this on a pc with Windows XP and don't know how well it would go on any other OS)

    In the phone Menu select
    'Settings'

    Then select
    'Phone settings'

    Then
    'USB settings'

    And choose
    'Ask on connection'

    Plug the Phone in to the PC with the USB cable

    On the phone selct
    'Media player'

    On the PC wait until it detects the phone and select
    'Open the device to view files'

    Open the folder
    'Phone'

    You should see the folders: images, Other files, Sounds, Videos

    Create a new folder and name it
    'Games'

    Put any game you want to install in that 'Games' folder

    Two things need to made sure of when copying over the games. Firstly make sure you have the *.jar and
    *.jad files for each game, if you don't have the *.jad file, you can download a jad creator pretty easily, just type it in Google. Secondly each game has to be in it's own folder, if you just dump all the *.jar and *.jad files directly into the 'Games' folder only the first game installed will work (Poorly too).

    Unplug the phone

    Now on the phone dial the code:

    There is already a 'Games' folder. It is simply hidden. Creating a folder called 'Games' from 'windows explorer' in the Phone directory (as specified in the original post) and placing something within causes the phone to un-hide the folder. Once the 'Games' folder is unhidden, you no longer need windows to do the rest. The rest can be done from any operating system.
    We now see the 'Games and more' folder twice from the 'My Files' menu. Once, as it always was seen with the game icon, and again with a generic text file icon.
    If you wish, however, you can now do the transfer process. If you always have access to a windows machine anyway, you will do it like this anyway. Transfer a unique folder containing both jar and jad files to the 'Games' folder which you created.

    Moved my numbers over to my new nokia 6500s. However when people ring me the phone doesn't recognise the name and just shows the number. Also, when looking to create a message I cant find all my contacts...


    After you import the names and numbers you will need to add the contacts to the contacts folder they are in a folder that was imported awith the same name look under at the contacts folder and you will find a sub folder called contacts also the phone will see it a an imported folder with an extension that refers to a database file called contacts.

    Create contact (Menu 2.3)
    Use this menu to add a new contact to Phonebook.
    Storing a number in the phone’s memory
    1. Select Phone.
    2. Change the settings or enter information about the
    contact:
    First name/Last name: assign a name.
    Mobile/Home/Office/Fax/Other: add a
    number in any category.
    You can change the number type, or set the
    number as the default for the contact by
    pressing <Options> and selecting Change
    type
    or Mark as default number.
    Email: assign an e-mail address.


    Graphic ID: assign a caller ID image to alert
    you to a call from the person.


    Ringtone: assign a ringtone to alert you to a
    call from the person.
    Group: assign the number to a caller group.
    Birthday: enter the person’s birthday.
    Notes: add a memo about the person.
    3. Press <Save> or [ ] to save the contact.
    Storing a number on the SIM card
    1. Select SIM.
    2. Select New or Update.
    3. Enter information about the contact:
    Name: assign a name.
    Phone number: add a number.
    Location: assign a location number.
    4. Press <Save> or [ ] to save the contact.
