Hi, maybe you are accidentally hitting the mute button and home button... try putting the psp on hold (you press down, instead of up on the power switch) and that will lock all your buttons!!

Hi can any one help with the code for my 4000rds radio serial no. M157514 many thanx ricky

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Ford service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

Skype Mute

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. In the Open box, type sndvol32.exe, and then click OK.
  3. Click Properties on the Options menu.
  4. In the Adjust volume for box, click Recording.
  5. Click OK.
  6. In the Microphone box, verify that the Select check box is selected.
All the properties listed on the Playback section of the Volume control are independet of the recording settings. So you could record through the microphone by selecting it on the recording section, and mute it on the playback section. Then, you could record sound, but wouldn't hear it through the speakers while you are recording.

Select and home button malfunction.

I used to have the same problem. Unfortunately, this is because your PSP has become physically damaged. The music button has been permanently locked in the pressed position, and whenever you hit Home, it thinks you are releasing the Music button, which mutes the system. This specific problem I have dealt with personally. I assume the other two are similar in nature. Unfortunately, all you can do about this is to get it fixed (somehow...), by a new psp, or learn to deal with it :(

If fixing and dealing with it is not an option, why not use it as an excuse to pick up a psp go when it drops? or if the lack of UMD is a turnoff, maybe a slim (if you don't have that already)

Sorry dude.

Keeps turning off during play

Can you tell me if this only happens when a game is in the UMD drive or does this happen regardless.

Wet psp volume and home does not work, can not recharge battery

Your PSP is bricked, and unfortunately this cannot be fixed because its a hardware brick. The PSP needs to be replaced.
