Re: HP 2600n prints black streaks on a page
Could be a few things but black cartridge is most common cause, they are not "cleanable" one just replaces them, if you carts are non gen HP then that will surely be your problem, slight chance could be transfer belt assy or fuser. they are also just a case of replacing, go for cart, replace it and see.

If this just started after you replaced the toner cartridge, one would have to say that it is a bad toner cartridge. Print something that smudges. Pull down the front cover and look at the cartridges. Pay attention to the top one(black). Look at the drum on that cartridge. You should see the toner sitting there. Compare it to the other cartridges which should be clean.
If you have BLACK Marks on the paper the YELLOW roller does not need to be cleaned usually.
To clean the yellow toner off the roller use a DRY lint free cloth. For this issue my suggestion for a resolution to the Yellow toner issue is replace the toner. They are not supposed to leak in the first place.
As for the BLACK tone on the left of the page you most likely have a Fuser issue causing that.
Are you sure this is a Designjet 450 (large format printer) and not a Deskjet 450 (portable printer)? The following assumes you have wispy black streaking on the printed side of the paper. If the streaking is on the back side then post more details of the printer model and the issue.
In either case the most likely cause is a buildup of fibers on the underside of the printheads or carriage, causing wisps of black ink to be dragged on the paper when the carriage reverses direction. You can clean the printer as shown at the following (though the details will be somewhat different for the Designjet or Deskjet....).
