Depends on how you are scanning, but try usertools/system settings/scan settings - need to set file type to pdf and switch one file per page off.

I am house sitting and do not know where Delonghi Perfecta Cap. machine's grounds container is located? indicator says to empty now...

Hello, Jean -

Delonghi makes a number of different cappuccino machines. If you had stated the model number of the machine, I probably could have found you the manual for the homeowner's machine online.

I found a user's manual for the Delonghi ESAM5500. The manual has an illustration which shows where the grounds container for that machine is located. If the homeowner's cappuccino machine is not an ESAM5500, the grounds container for their machine may be in a similar location.

This is the link to the user manual for the Delonghi ESAM5500:
It is a PDF document, so you will need Adobe Reader software (free).

Page 17 of the manual talks about how to clean the machine, including cleaning the grounds container. In the instructions part A9 (which is illustrated on Page 3 of the manual) is identified as the grounds container.

Just to be sure, if you can contact the homeowners, do so and ask them where the manual for their cappuccino machine manual is located, so you can refer to it and so that you do not accidentally damage the machine.

Best wishes.

How do I print the free manual?

I have to assume that this manual you are wanting to print is a manual for a sewing machine that you've had for years or perhaps you just purchased it and the only information that came with it was a sheet that said "for a complete printable copy of the owner's manual/operating instructions" go" or something similar, is that a fair guess? Well, even if it's not a sewing machine manual and you don't have any information pointing you to a user friendly website, have no fear, Google is here! I'm going to assume that you are at least somewhat familiar with computers and have some knowledge of how to search for or go to websites on the computer because you obviously found your way to this website and even figured out how to post a question. Not necessarily spelled out in blazingly obvious step-by-step instructions, I might ad! Anyway, if you did have a web address that directed you to this online document or "manual", then that's half the battle. Many free online instructions are uploaded to the internet in PDF format and it's probably a safe bet that your free manual is no exception to the rule, however some PDF documents are delivered to the web page all tied up nice and neat with a toolbar at the top of the first page like you would expect, thus it appears that there's no print command or printer icon anywhere which would lead you to believe that the document is certainly free and free for you to access, but why would they say it's printable if there's no print option showing here, right? Well you can use your keyboard to start the printing process. The print command on your keyboard is executed by pressing and holding down the key labeled Cntrl (bottom left on the keyboard) while at the same time you press the letter P key. Once you've pressed the P you can release both keys and in a few seconds the print command window should open up allowing you to choose/verify that all of the print "options" are set the way they should be. Verify that the "destination" shows as a known printer that belongs to you and is near your computer. Then take note of the number of pages in this document and make sure to have enough paper loaded in the printer and the printer is powered on. You can choose to print "All" pages or you can select the 2nd radio button and type in the page numbers that you want to print. For example if you want to print page 2, 3, 4 and 5 you would type 2-5 in the space provided. If you want to print 1, 3, 5, and 7 you would type 1, 3, 5, 7 and then click on the print button. If you are starting from scratch and don't know where to find the online manual (ie: there was no web address included or the machine is old and you only heard about a "free manual" from someone who mentioned that there should be a free manual, then that's where Google Search comes in. I have had really good luck finding manuals and or parts lists or schematics or even step-by-step how-to instructions (with pictures even) simply by typing in the Google search window something like "free printable owners manual for a Singer model S6372 sewing machine" which nearly always generates a page with dozens of options or "links" that lead to a PDF document that contains the entire manual free for me to print (or not) at my discretion. The only issue that I've ever had (and its not much of an issue if you know your keyboard commands) is that not all of these PDF documents have a toolbar at the top of the window that allows for easy execution of the printing. It can also make it difficult to save a document to your computer if you'd rather not print because there are too many pages. In that case you might want to learn to execute the copy and paste keyboard commands and copy the entire manual into a new blank word document. But that 's a lesson for another day. I hope I didn't insult you by assuming that you had no knowledge of the printing process, if this was too much information then I apologize, but I didn't want to make the wrong assumption either so I chose to give the most complete, clear and concise step-by-step instructions I could. I hope this was helpful. If you have more questions or just need me to clarify something please post another question or you can email me at and I can try to answer your questions directly. Or if you are so enclined, you can always "Ask Google!" He knows everything! Lol!

Acer extensa E210 manual

The link below takes you to the Acer website and a page where you can find all the drivers etc for this machine.
I can see a potential flaw in this in that under the documents tab it only lists a "generic" user guide. However this may contain the information you want.
Good luck

Netflix error 405

When you browse the default document, you receive one of the following error messages: HTTP Error
405 Method Not Allowed

The method specified in the Request Line is not allowed for the resource identified by the request. Please ensure that you have the proper MIME type set up for the resource you are requesting.

Please contact the server's administrator if this problem persists.
HTTP 405 - Resource not allowed
Internet Information Services
This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • You do not specify the file name. For example, you do not specify http://Server/Web/.
  • The Scripting Object Model (SOM) is enabled.
  • A DTC event is called.
This problem occurs only when you use Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 4.0 and Microsoft Internet Information Services 5.0. This problem occurs if you send a POST request to a server that is running IIS 4.0 or IIS 5.0, and the POST request contains a URL that ends in a slash mark (/). IIS returns the 405 error message instead of the default document. However, if the method value of the Verb property is GET or HEAD, IIS returns the default document. RESOLUTION

When the SOM is enabled and a DTC event is called

When the SOM is enabled for the page, a <FORM> tag that is similar to the following is inserted in the page. <FORM name=thisForm METHOD=post>
Because no ACTION attribute is specified in the tag, both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer try to make an HTTP POST request to the URI "web/". According to the HTTP RFC (RFC 2068), this is not a valid Request-URI for a POST operation.

To work around this problem, use one of the following methods:
  • Redirect from the default document to a different document. In this case, the SOM-enabled document will no longer be the default document. The new default document will just redirect to the SOM-enabled document. For example, if your SOM-enabled document is named MyDefault.asp, the default document (Default.asp) will contain only the following code. <% Response.Redirect "mydefault.asp" %>
  • Use client-side script to make sure that the file name is included in the URL. If you must use your SOM-enabled document as the default document, use a client-side code block that is similar to the following code block as the first code block within the <HEAD> section of the page. This code block does the following location replacement. Language=JavaScript> var loc = document.location.toString() var loclen = loc.length //The name of the default document var filename = "default.asp" var filelen = filename.length loc = loc.substring(loclen - filelen, loclen) if (loc.toUpperCase() != filename.toUpperCase()) { location.replace(filename) }

When the remote scripting is called

This problem may occur if you use the window.location.href property in an HTML document to determine the path of the current document. If you do this when you initiate a remote scripting call, the remote scripting call fails because the client page does not have a file name.

To determine whether the page can use remote scripting on the client, verify that the value of the window.location.href property does not end in a slash mark. To provide a file name in the client browser, and to prevent the error on the server, use the Response.Redirect method redirect the request from the default page to another page. For more information, see the first resolution method in the "When the SOM is enabled and a DTC event is called" section. STATUS

Document in ADF

None of these worked for me. Here is my FIX:
Open the part containing the rollers. You can see a white plastic part which stop the documents feeded into the adf. Lower this part and insert a page into the adf just a bit further than where it would have stopped from that white stopper. This forces the machine to feed the document and clears the error right away. You only have to do this once and from then mine worked fine.

Where can I download owners how to use manual

User guide
A user guide or user's guide, also commonly known as a manual, is a technical communication document intended to give assistance to people using a particular system. It is usually written by a technical writer, although user guides are written by programmers, product or project managers, or other technical staff, particularly in smaller companies.
User guides are most commonly associated with electronic goods, computer hardware and software.
Most user guides contain both a written guide and the associated images. In the case of computer applications, it is usual to include screenshots of the human-machine interface(s), and hardware manuals often include clear, simplified diagrams. The language used is matched to the intended audience, with jargon kept to a minimum or explained thoroughly.

Contents of a user manual The sections of a user manual often include:
  • A cover page
  • A title page and copyright page
  • A preface, containing details of related documents and information on how to navigate the user guide
  • A contents page
  • A guide on how to use at least the main functions of the system
  • A troubleshooting section detailing possible errors or problems that may occur, along with how to fix them
  • A FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
  • Where to find further help, and contact details
  • A glossary and, for larger documents, an index
Computer software manuals and guides User manuals and user guides for most non-trivial software applications are book-like documents with contents similar to the above list. The Starta User Manual is a good example of this type of document. Some documents have a more fluid structure with many internal links. The Google Earth User Guide is an example of this format. The term guide is often applied to a document that addresses a specific aspect of a software product. Some usages are Installation Guide, Getting Started Guide, and various How to guides. An example is the Picasa Getting Started Guide.
In some business software applications, where groups of users have access to only a sub-set of the application's full functionality, a user guide may be prepared for each group. An example of this approach is the Autodesk Topobase 2010 Help document, which contains separate Administrator Guides, User Guides, and a Developer's Guide. These guides are a valuable tool for On-the-job training.

The screen on my Phaser 6110 MFP says "Remove/Install Waste toner tank." I don't know what that is.

The life of the waste toner container unit is approximately 1,250 pages

for full color 5% image printing or 5,000 images for black printing. When

the life span of the waste toner container has expired, Replace/Install

Waste Toner Tank appears on the display of the control panel,

indicating the waste toner container needs to be replaced. Otherwise

your printer stops printing.

To replace the waste toner container:

1 Turn the machine off, then wait a few minutes for the machine to

2 Open the front cover.

3 Pull the waste toner container out of the machine using its handle.

4 Remove the container's cap from the container as shown below,

and use it to close the waste toner container opening.

5 Take a new waste toner container out of its package.

Make sure that you lay the waste toner container on a flat

surface so that the toner does not spill.

Do not tilt or turn the tank over.

6 Insert the new container into position and then push it to make sure

that it is firmly seated in place.

7 Close the front cover firmly.

8 Turn the machine on.

If the front cover is not completely closed, the machine will not

After rebooting, your machine will automatically reset the
counter for the waste toner container
