I have a whirlpool dishwasher Modle GU63XTLQ0 SER # FP1801615. The Clean light flashes seven times and then pauses, and repeats. I am not able to cjoose a cycle and the machien is frozen. I have turned the power to the dishwasher fo an hour to hopefuly reset the machien, but it did nothing. I do not have the funds to get a survice person out, and would like to do this myself if possible.
"My Whirlpool Gold displays a "2" when "Cancel" is pressed. The unit then goes into a 2-minute drain cycle at which time the 2 disappears. The only response that I can get from the washer is to press Cancel, at which point the unit again goes into the 2-minute drain cycle. No other cycles light up when pressed. Any suggestions?"
My only difference is the "air dry" light will come on if pressed also.
This happened once before and it asked for rinse fluid. I gave it some and it worked fine ever since. Today I had the same problem without the rinse fluid light. I added some anyway, but no change. HELP
Same issue as igsanders
I had just swapped my disher and had to hard wire it- had worked fine 6 washes ago then all of a sudden this 'blinking' clean light flashes- I to had also 'rebooted' to see if it would self-set- nope!- so I followed your instruction and 'BAM' - works! so thx for the info and saving me $$$

my dishwasher is doing the exact same thing -- the clean light blinks 7 times then pauses and repeats. have tryed unpluging and a few other things. can someone tell me what to do to fix this. any help would be apprieciated. thank you
igsanders.. that is a heater fault code. toggle between heated dry and normal until all light light up . press cancel. now ensure door closes without striking cabinet and the unit is level. this fault normally has nothing to do with the heater but rather the nuetral to the door switch which it shares with the heater.it will now operate again.
