Question about Televison & Video
It looks like there is no black color ,if i put the contrast all the way down it doesnt go black , the screen looks like green ants on the screen does anybody know whats the problem,
I had a very similar problem - the picture would get garbled, the black colour would turn into dark or bright blue tones, and i would get wiggly/jaggy outlines on the picture wherever contrasting coulours' edges met. After 2 service calls (replaced video boards both times), i gave up and popped the back cover on the TV. I wiggled a cable that connects the video board (it is on the top left quarter of the TV if you are looking straight at the front of it), and noticed that the picture improved right away.
I found that there is a bad solder on the cable connector, and simply keep the cover off now, as the connection will get flaky once in a while (especially in warmer temperatures).
