Rca p56926 screen is concave and cant adjust convergence in menu

the convergence power supply module has failed
if you go into the menu you will not find convergence adjustments in the menu
the power supply module can be repaired
or you may want to get local help
if you want to try to repair you can get parts at mcm or encompas or tvrepairworld.com

Here's all I find regarding bad convergence from the techrepairCD:
RCA ~ITC222 D52W20~Convergence bad~~~ITC222~Replace leaky DL032 on
deflection board~~~~~~

RCA~D52W20Y ATC221~Convergence goes out/bowed after on for a few
minutes~~~ATC221~Problem may be on the deflection board. Was unable to
pinpoint where in this case.~~~~~~

RCA~D52W20BYX1 ITC222~Convergence way off after replacing small signal
board~EEPROMS were transferred over to new board~~~IK210 was
defective..transfer the new EEPROM back over.~Remember on these
sets*when replacing the SSB* if there is a small P on corner of
screen*hold volume on remote for 8 seconds after it reaches minimum.~~~~~

RCA~D52W20BYX1 ITC222~Can not align blue convergence* bottom really
bowed* possibly either color after replacing SSB.(Or no auto
convergence.~(Service menu: turn power off for 30 seconds* press vol dn
and ch dn* simultaneously for 8 seconds* set turns on with service menu
options)~~ITC222~In service menu* select convergence. If sensor
calibration was performed when convergence was too far off* it will not
alighn.~Get crosshatch with straight lines* perform sensor calibration*
then attempt convergence alignment again. Be sure to store settings*
then do sensor calibration again.~You must get a green flash of the
screen after sensor cal and a check in the box. RED flash indicated
convergence settings are too far off~~~~

That repair only repairs the issue of the convergence option missing from the on screen menu. If thats what your problem is then the ITC222A convergence option missing repair kit at the following link should repair the issue. The kit contains the fl231, DL231, CL230 and the CD with detailed instructions.

try to do a convergence adjustment. If that doesnt work the convergence power supply board is the usual culprit, if the convergence option hasnt disapeared from the menu.

NEXT TO THE FLY BACK THERE ARE THREE, (CMT) FUSES THE CENTER ONE IS MORE THAN OPEN. THEY DON'T LOOK LIKE GLASS FUSES, THEY LOOK LIKE CM RESISTOR/CAP LIKE ITEMS. GOOD LUCK.

Go to menu ,now to setup when in set up do you see convergence? If convergence is missing in menu it is a open fuse,only it does not look like fuse ,They look more like small square capaitors brown, they will be right next to flyback transfomer FL231 (3) of them in a roll it will be the middle one,you can take needle nose plyers and pull top up on fuses.

thats usually a convergence IC failure, Are you able to move the red and blue colors in the convergence adjustment menu?

This is what is known as convergence..(very common)... first question DO you have the "CONVERGENcE" option in your setup menu?.... if you dont there may be a special fuse issue... if not then more than likely it is what is known as convergence power supply issue. you have complete loss of convergence?

Convergence problems. FIrst try going into customer setup and seeing if convergence options are there and if adjustments can be made. unfortunately when the picture is bowed like that it idicates a complete loss of convergence which idicates one of three boards have gone bad.

Your set has a repair issue with the convergence circuit.
Adjustments in the service menu will not help.............I agree
with Guest comment.... circuit board repair or replacement is
what you both need.....................T.
