Have you determined exactly what type of error 04 is describing for your Epson DFX-9000 Matrix Printer by reading your owners manual?

Is it possible to attempt turning off printer, then turning back on.
This possibly could remove trouble code error 04.

try uninstall printer ,, then reinstall it,,, (if you have cd for it!) if not got to epson and dowload the driver files needed
