Question about GE GDS20KBS Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
Got a 5 year old GE Bottem fridge and the monday the fan was making a noise like it was hitting something and last night we noticed the fridge is no longer cold. everything in the freezer is still frozen. I have heard the GE have problems with the motor freezing up. ...is that correct? what could be the problem?
It is not so much the freezer motor icing up but the drain trough that takes the water from defrost down to the pan.Possibly your drain trough is clogged and needs dethawing and cleaning.
