How to Format Nokia N72, N73, N81, N95, NSeries Mobile Phones. Method 1: Three Finger Reset for Nokia Phone

1. Switch off your Nokia phone.

2. Hold down the following three keys, Green (call answer button) * Key, and Number '3? key.

3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.

4. Wait for message 'Formatting' to appear on the screen and release all keys once you see that message.
Method 2: Hard Format of Nokia Mobile Phone

1. Switch off your Nokia phone

2. Now Press following key sequence *#7370#

3. Enter Default lock code is 12345.

4. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.

5. Wait for message 'Formatting' to appear on the screen and release all keys once you see that message.
Method 3: Soft Reset of Nokia Mobile Phone

1. Switch off your Nokia phone

2. Now Press following key sequence *#7780#

3. Enter Default lock code is 12345.

4. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.

5. Wait for message 'Formatting' to appear on the screen and release all keys once you see that message.

Please Note: The Above Nokia Phone Formatting method will erase all your Phone data. So do backup before proceeding for Formatting

On the main screen press *#7370# and press the green call key
and format ur memory card by computer or scan it by ur computer
if u have lock code for ur mobile then *#7370#<lock code>green call key

You will need to format the phone.

1. Press the Nokia Menu key to the left of the 1 and 2 keys then choose Tools.
2. In the Tools screen click on Settings
3. In the Settings screen click on Security
4. In the Security screen click on Phone and SIM
5. Scroll down and select Lock Code
6. Now type ‘12345’ and then choose OK with the left Selection key. ‘12345’ is the default lock code for the Nokia N73
7. Next type your new lock code then choose OK with the left Selection key. Your lock code can only include the numbers 0 to 9. You will be asked to enter it again. Do this then choose OK with the left Selection key again. You will see a message that says ‘Lock code changed’
8. Next click on Autolock period. You can set your phone to lock itself automatically after a period of inactivity. To do this click on User defined with the scroll key. Now enter the number of minutes after which you want the phone to automatically lock itself and choose OK with the left Selection key
9. You will have to enter the lock code you set up and then choose OK, and finally you get the message ‘Code accepted’. Now after the period of time you set the Nokia N73 will lock itself and a screensaver will appear to show that it is locked

Unlock the phone
To unlock the phone select Unlock with the left Selection key then type the lock code and choose OK with the left Selection key. The message ‘Code accepted’ will appear and you will be able to use the phone.


Disable autolock
If you decide you want to disable the autolock the go back to the Security Settings screen (see above), scroll to where it says Autolock period then click with the Scroll key and click. Choose None. You will need to enter the lock code and choose OK with the left Selection key. The message ‘Code accepted’ will appear and the Autolock period will be reset to ‘None’.

if you dont know the code or you dont have any import data in your mobile memory then you have to make you mobile format turn off your mobile pull out the memory card and then hold the following keys

1 call key

2 on pad (3) key

3 * key

hold untill you didnt hear the sound and see the hands animation when the mobile comes on it will be formated automatcaly

if you put the code first time then enter the code 12345 if your mobile is not accept this one then turn on your mobile pull out the memory card and then hold the following keys

1 call key

2 on pad (3) key

3 * key

hold untill you didnt hear the sound and see the hands animation when the mobile comes on it will be formated automatcaly

you have to make a format to your mobile the to format your mobile is turn off your phone and then hold the folloing keys

1 call key
2 *
3 number (3) on pad

then turn on your mobile hold the keys until you didnt see the hands animation in the screen
after that your mobile will be formate

NOTE take the memory card out before farmating

if u want reset u r phone please format it remember : all data in phone will be lost
to format phone

1. switch off mobile.
2. press & hold three keys (*+3+green "calling" keys)
3. then press & hold switch on key
4. hold all keys till the screen will show u formatig massage
5. remember battry is full charg

after that u get u r lock code defalt 12345
