Question about Dell Latitude C400 Notebook
I own a Dell Lattitude C400 laptop; the keyboard keys 2,w,s,x are not responding.
I have replaced the keyboard, re-flash the bios (12) and watched bios reload the keyboard controller .. did not resolved issue.
The last time the whole mother board ahd to be replaced, is there a go around.
My guess is it's either the whole keyboard controller is bad and not just the just the letter 2,w,s,x are bad consistenly over time.
Is there another eay to reflash the skyboard controller?

I had the same exact problem, Open Office was causing some weird conflict Try restoring to a time before you installed any software, makes no sense but that is what caused/cured my problem
BTW, do you get atone when you press those keys?

If you have replaced the keyboard and still the issue is there, then you are right. The controller is shot. You need to replace the motherboard again for this type of issue.
