I just bought a new Dell computer and like my old Gateway FPD2185W monitor better. That monitor came with the Gateway and I don't have a disk to install the FPD2185W on my new desktop. What can I do?

- The problem was, my husband didn't plug in the monitor. Can I hide under my bed totally embarresed now? Thanks! redwiz_51

Have you tried to plug in the monitor to the new system, and if so what happens? Also what os are you using, xp, vista...?

normally you dont need an application to install it just plug your new monitor and your OS (XP or Vista) will automatically setup your new monitor..hope this helps..ITTech7574
