Well the problem could be in the audio cable and or inside the PC jack ..More likely is the cable to speakers .I would try the cable first .If you can do some soldering , you can purchase a similar cable and solder it directly to speakers .Or you can try to find where kink is on cable ,cut bad area on cable and just add by soldering 3 wires ,another mini plug from radioshack

The cable is broken, you have to replace it or find out where it's broken and shorten it

I have a kitchen aid over the range microwave that makes a humming noise ehen off. Almost sounds like a buzzing transformer. ykhms1850ss-0 Is the model.

Possibly the wall receptacle has been wired with black and white wires reversed and/or the green ground wire not connected.
I had a GE microwave that periodically would buzz white operating but eventually the buzzing stopped.

Humming/buzzing

This is a nice speaker. You could get humming from the wires being crossed they actually do have polarity and better speakers will hum if the wires are crossed. The volume cloud also be too high without input. You also may have some interference with other audio wires or power wires close to the speaker.

Kenmore coldspot 106 icemaker working fine but in the last week has started to make a loud buzz/humming sound when filling... is it the Solenoid, water fill valve or the ice maker motor ?

If you think it's only during the fill (20-30 seconds at the end of the cycle), it's probably the fill solenoid. If it were me, I'd let it go a couple of weeks and see if it quiets down on its own. There's nothing harmful about a solenoid humming, and you may find that better is the enemy of good when you wade into trying to fix it.
If you can't live with the noise, I'd suggest replacing the entire valve body and solenoid as a unit - you never know which part may be the source of the problem. It's only 2 water connections and 2 wires. You can buy the part online for $20 or less.

Estate TS25AFXKQ FRIG makes a loud humming / vibrating sound when it kicks on. I do not see any visual problems. Had a similar issue a year ago but it stopped. Now it last long time.

Hello Gene,

I am so sorry to take so long to answer your question i was offline but suppose i was shown as online sorry again.

Now then is it the compressor that is making the loud humming noise and does it repeat it several times a hour/day ??

The buzzing humming noise is coming from the compressor due to the start relay being burnt and the relay should be replaced. The relay clips onto the compressor and is held in place by a wire retainer under a plastic cover on the side of the compressor.

The part number for that relay is 8201786 it could be purchased at your local appliance parts store or online at;

If you should need further assistiance please replay and i will glad to help you,

Humming sound (speakers)when HK AVR is powered up.

In my case the buzz was only on front speakers. There are 3 capasitors (100uF/25V) very close to the cooling ribs of 3 regulators in the power supply. In my case the C922 was bad.
