Question about Bissell 8910 ProHeat Clear View Upright Vacuum
I have a Bissell ProHeat 8910 and I am having a problem with the machine not sucking the water back up. The machine sprays water on the carpet but it will not suck it back up because the tank is not tight enough to the machine. I bought a new tank and I am still having the same problem. If i push down on it, the water sucks through, but I can't puish down on the tank and pull the machine at the same time. Can you help with this problem or at least direct me to someone who can? I would GREATLY appreciate it!!! Thanks
Some bissell models this cant really be fixed but some can look at where the tank connects some bolt down some twist in and some have a rubber gasket between the the tank and the machine if this is the case, with the age of the machine the rubber gasket is probably worn out. try replacing it. that gasket flattens out with time and the connection gets loose and it sucks air and dont work. when you said if you pushed down on it it wotked that is a good sign that the gasket is shot. if nothig else find one that you can fit to the machine that will eliminate the loose fit. this will fix your prioblem.
