count the number of blinks; you may have to unplug the set and try to turn on again--if it does not blink in a sequence(3 blinks, a pause etc) the set is in shutdown and many things can cause this.
turn tv on picture comes up 2to3 seconds later tv blacks out then stand by red light flashes 4 times in a row repeatedly..can not turn on or off when stand by light starts flashing but before tv blacks out you can turn tv on and off repeatedly and picture and sound work. You have to unplug power cord for 30 seconds after stand by light comes on to get tv to turn on.
unplug it, and let it set for a minute or 2, then try it again...if it does it again hit the power button again to turn it back on...also once the the tv turns on make sure you reset the counter for the bulb..that will also cause problems...to reset the counter press the (-) volume on the tv while holding down the (-) press spilt, pip on the reomte...the lamp will reset and the indicator will go out
Try powering on you unit press and hold the power button and the eject button for 30 sec unti the power light begins to flash thats going to reset the setting of your ps3, and if that does not work i would rec> sending it out so sony if its still under warranty or exchanging it from where u bought it.
A reset won't fix this. The standby light should be blinking a repeated count with a 3 second pause inbetween. Post that count here. That will indicate the circuit/condition that is preventing the set from turning on.
I own a Sony T.V. model #KV36HS510, Serial # 9024184,Event# E36002407 and it"s aTrinitron brand name. Like the problems before no picture or sound, stand by light on front of unit flashes. When trying to turn it back on you can hear the power click, like it wants to turn on, but does not.
