Here's one general startup troubleshooter.
There's probably similar information specific to your model at the Gateway support site, if you enter your serial number and search their knowledge base for 'startup problems' or 'no boot'.
For anything more specific, we need to know what OS you're running. Have you tried Last known good configuration?
Were you getting any errors or problems before this occurred?
Sometimes this is related to system memory. Try reseating your ram or removing it one stick at a time.
Or, you can try booting from your recovery cd or windows installation disk and using the recovery console to run chkdsk, or other tools, to repair your windows installation. But again, helps us to know what os.
