Re: akg sr 60

The mute light on the AKG SR60 turns on when it does not detect a transmitter or the the transmitter is too far out of range or not on the same frequency as the SR60 receiver.

1. Apply power to the SR60 receiver. Leave the transmitter turned off.
2. Using a small flat-blade screw driver, turn the squelch control fully counter-clockwise. The mute light should go off. Slowly turn the squelch control clockwise until the mute light stays on with no flickering.
3. Place a fresh battery(ies) in your transmitter and turn it's power on.
4. The mute light should now be off on the SR60 and the OK light should be lit. If not, verify you have the SR60 set to the same frequency as your transmitter. If you don't know the frequency of your transmitter, you can try each receiver frequency (wait about 5 seconds after changing to the next frequency) until the receiver and transmitter frequency match.

Microphone not getting connected Changed interface

Try changing the wire. Must be the 30 foot cable not the 10 foot which is specifically the daisy chain ... The former 30 foot is the specific cable from codec to mic. If changing this fails and you tested the mic, then your unit is either suffering corrupted software or the mic hardware is damaged. David

Where is the hold button located on the phone?

it doesnt really have one. you will have to use the flash button to put call on "hold" or just mute call when needed.

flash will put first line on hold while a second caller is added

technically this is a one line phone and therefore no hold button was needed

This is the second phone and always being asked to speak up. mic diagnostics show that even when you yell the bar does not max out.

Try to increace volume over the phone settings itself. If its already max, then just replace the mic and that's it.

If you need more detail, just let me know.

Best of luck

Persons on the other end can't hear me speak

go to menu, then admin setup, then diagnostics, you can adjust the mic levels in there, they are 50% by default.
