Keep getting error E-22. What is this? How to remedy? Stops playing during random play and sometime skips/advances in middle of song.

I´m having the same problem. It looks like a problem with the rubber belt in the Kenwood cd-m6010.

Does not play has e22 on display on my kenwood dp-m6010 disk player

On the kenwood dp m6010 6+1 cd player, the e-22 and e-21 codes are for the laser head movement limit sensors. More than likely the drive belt is broke or stretched.

I have a DP-R6080 or DP-R5080 5 cd changer player. Its probably 10 years old or so but recently the CD have begun to skip. Its not the CD because the new ones skip and they play fine on a single player...

The trouble lies in the laser pickup assembly, the only option you can try is buy CD cleaning kit and follow the instructions, the kit will remove any dirt that might have collected on the laser lens, If it works you will get more usable time out of the machine. The fact that you got 10 years is much better than the average, overtime the laser gets weaker until it can not track properly, so! if the cleaning fails it is far cheaper to replace than to repair.

My Sony mini hifi component system is going berserk!! 2 problems: 1- CD system skips tracks and on playing on repeat song, the song skips certain times and jumps ahead of the track. 2- Tape system plays...

Your cd player is fubar and in definite need of replacement.
Tape unit seems to have a mind of its won. Try to reset the electronics to factory defaults. If that has no remedy, since it is a sony< best advise is to trash it. Repair cost is prohibitively expensive.

My DP-48 CD Player is erratic. Sometimes it plays and can search, memorise, replay and do all I ask of it. Other times, it cannot even play the first track but keeps revolving over and over. Please...

same thing is happening with mine, its old asf and won't play a CD without skipping the entire way through, I recommend you just reset it by unplugging it for a day with the power button on, that might help reduce any static buildup in the ribbon cables. Anything from over 20 years ago will have many ribbon cables, which build up static causing electrical errors in the unit. I usually just turn it off for a few hours and then it works fine. But if that doesn't work, it's probably the spinning mechanism, since it's so old, the motor probably needs lubricating, if it's rusted or bent, then it is unfix able. I only recommend this if you didn't plan on taking it to a professional AV repair store. I hope you get to read this as I realize your post is from 7 years ago. good luck.

Playing CD-RW audio CDs on Kenwood DP-J2070

try to play a song from original cds.
maybe you brunt it in mp3 file, or its a different format. try to burn your song to cd-r.
if still, try to use nero to burner..
if it wont play your original cds and burnt cds, then the optical lens or the board is broken.
hope I helped you.
