Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
Most headphones won't work witht he iphone because Apple made the port on the iphone a bit smaller than most adapters.
Its not the actual adapter thats too small, its the plastic around the plug that makes it not get a good connection. I personally cut away a little of the plastic around the connection and mine works fine.
Otherwise you can buy a apple one that is made with less plastic(make sure it says Works with Iphone) and you shouldnt' have any problems.

Hmm.. i am not sure why this will happen, i have heard some similar cases of this. My opinion is try doing a restore of the firmware. It should solve the problem.
