Problem for Warner Bros. Interactive Lego Batman for PlayStation 3
Lego Batman level 3 (episode 1) crashes at area 2 and sometimes 3

When you are on level 3 (aka the first vehicle level) and you go to the third area, the screen goes black then white and then a message comes and says "LEGO Batman is not responding". In other cases, it crashes. I have no clue as to why it crashes. Also, Vertical Sync seems to have effect on this (from what I've seen). If you turn it on, the game crashes on the second area, not the third.
I am running Windows XP, Service Pack 3.5. (3.5 is just Service Pack 2 with updates). I use an ATI 128 MB graphics card and have 1 GB of RAM. Anything wrong with my computer? If not, what is wrong with the game?

most of the crashes are due to video problems.You need to make sure all your drivers are up to date.
some levels are worse then others.like the penguin lair.turn off vsync,then turn off mirrors.and try again.if that don't help,turn off your music.
