Question about Dell E173FP 17" LCD Monitor
How can I open the case of the Monitor
You have to pry the back half of the case up away fron the front bazel there iar little plastic lock made into the case after it just snap back to gether ues a butter knife using the flat edgr to lift the rear case up a little till you fine the little lock let go and then slid to the next lock it not to hard to open these

Had the same problem. You need only the front plastic frame decrease. Between the front side and the bottom Ramen is a small slit, then you can start and then carefully with the help of a Keils of the front frame. Beware! The rear frame is not resolved, this is at the corners with 4 screws on the side framework screw.
